All month we’re focused on being active.  It’s part of a smart healthy lifestyle.  So much of the time my clients are focused on food and how to eat for good health.  Being physically active is just as important as the food you eat.  Changing your diet will only take you part of the way down the path to good health and wellness.  The other two components are living an active lifestyle and being spiritually connected to your source.  None of us operate independently no matter how empowered we think we are.  Being mindful and aware of our bodies needs helps us stay in the flow of good health.

Create an activity routine for yourself.  We have routines for other areas of our lives.  Some people routinely check their Facebook account, email, text messages, etc throughout the day.  Here’s an idea!  Check in on your physical movement throughout the day.  When’s the last time you got up to :

  • go to the bathroom!? 😨😳
  • take a walk?
  • work out at the gym?
  • attend a dance class?
  • put in that cardio workout CD?

Be aware of your movement or lack thereof.  It will keep you mindfully connected to your overall health and wellbeing.
